As General Counsel for March of Dimes, I have the daily privilege of witnessing the positive impact March of Dimes has on the fight for moms and babies.
In 2024, in the United States, around 650 women lost their lives to pregnancy-related complications; about 20,000 babies were born stillborn; and around 30,000 women suffered from life-threatening pregnancies.
March of Dimes uses its resources to implement programs such as NICU Family Support programs and other mission investment opportunities for communities and families that need them the most. Additionally, March of Dimes highlights the importance educational resources, making them available to expectant mothers, their families, and support systems. Further, March of Dimes funds crucial research and discovery aimed at reducing preterm birth, including understanding how social determinants of health impact maternal and infant health outcomes.
Every fundraising effort helps. Every dime counts. If you believe, like I do, that every baby deserves the best possible start, please make a donation to support this community effort. Together we can fight for the health of all moms and babies.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
