Most of you know that our son, William, was born at just 23 weeks gestation (nearly 4 months early!), weighing a mere 1.7 pounds. The 4 months William spent in the hospital were a scary and stressful time, but we were extremely fortunate to have a very positive outcome. William is now a happy, healthy college junior studying mechanical engineering at Virginia Tech. It's hard to believe he will turn 21 this May. You would never guess he was so premature! Not every family is as lucky as we were.
Premature birth is the leading cause of newborn death and many life long disabilities, and affects about 450,000 babies each year here in the United States. The funds we raise in the March for Babies support research that saves babies' lives. Thank you for your continued support! We truly appreciate every penny you donate to Team Will Power!

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
