We joined the movement to create positive change for parents and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Our son Cameron was born prematurely at 33 weeks and spent the first 22 days of his life in the NICU. Each day brought a new challenge, and we prayed for the day we could bring our baby home. We feel fortunate to have received immaculate care from the doctors, nurses, surgeons, specialists, therapists, counselors, and volunteers at Aurora Medical Center in Summit. Our hope is to help other families and babies in need.
The March of Dimes organization funds NICU support programs, prenatal care for expecting moms, research and innovation to address the most pressing maternal and infant health challenges, education for healthcare professionals, and advocates for legislation that protects all moms, babies, and families.
