It is spring and time for the March of Dimes' biggest event, the March for Babies. I am working and walking virtually to raise funds to assist the March of Dimes to help improve perinatal outcomes for mothers and babies. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start. My grandson Bankston was born prematurely at 28 weeks gestation. Although, he faced many challenges at birth, today he is a healthy 23-year old college senior who made the President's List and is strong enough to have been a city wrestling champion. As a Perinatal Nurse, I have witnessed much progress made in improving the health of our babies thanks in part to research and advocacy efforts by the March of Dimes. Please help by donating today!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
