I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere — especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I can’t do it alone.
As many of you know, we lost our daughter, Nora Ann, on April 28, 2023 due to preterm delivery caused by severe preeclampsia and Antiphospholipid Syndrome. After years of fertility struggles and autoimmune challenges, finding out I was pregnant felt like a miracle. We were so excited to welcome our baby girl.
Unexpected complications led to an emergency C-section, and although Nora fought so hard, she lived just over two hours. Losing her changed our lives forever.
After a season of deep grief and healing, her dad and I made the decision to honor Nora in a way that feels purposeful — by helping other families avoid the heartbreak we experienced.
This year, we are participating in the March of Dimes Walk for Babies on April 12th — the month of Nora’s birthday. It feels like a meaningful way to celebrate her life while supporting research, advocacy, and care for moms and babies facing high-risk pregnancies.
If you’re able, please consider visiting my fundraising page to make a donation. Together, we can be part of a movement to ensure every mom and baby has a healthy start — and help me honor my sweet Nora Ann.
