I march for my niece Hope Grace who was born too soon and was not able to stay with us very long.
I march for my nephew Liam who was born at 26 weeks and spent 3 months in the NICU.
I march for my daughter Megan (age 10) and my son Joseph (age 8). I went into pre-term labor with Megan at 34 weeks 5 days and thankfully she wasn’t born until 37 weeks 6 days. Joseph was born at 39 weeks 6 days via emergency c-section due to irregular heart rate (his cord was wrapped around his neck 3 times) after full natural labor to 9 cm dilated with no pain medicine.
So thankful for my babies.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
