The important work of the March of Dimes continues, even during a pandemic. 1 in 10 babies is born too soon, too sick or too small - and 2 babies die EVERY HOUR in the United States? This in NOT OK!
Moms and babies of color are more likely to experience health complications, or even die, because of preterm birth!
"American women die in childbirth at a higher rate than in any other developed country, while non-Hispanic Black women are more than 3 times more likely to have a maternal death than white women in the United States" (American Journal of Managed Care)
The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies across the nation, and is continuing to support NICU families both at the bedside, and virtually, during the COVID crisis. And they are vocal advocates for equity in maternal and child health.
Your donation today supports lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
In honor of my 56th birthday, I am looking to get at least 56 donations this year.
Can you be next?
We have certainly come a long way from being in the NICU with our 3 pound miracle in 2007 and our family wants to continue to give back. This is our 19th March for Babies and we need your help to meet our goal.
Please join our fight for all moms and babies with a donation in ANY amount! #EveryDimeMakesaDifference
Thank you,
~Jill
