Our son Zael was born at just 25 weeks and 2 days. My pregnancy became complicated due to incompetent cervix, which led to my water breaking early. I also developed chorioamnionitis, and everything happened so fast. Even though Zael was born extremely early, he came into this world fighting. He spent 91 long days in the NICU and went through so many ups and downs, but he never gave up. Thanks be to God, today he is strong, healthy, and the happiest, smiliest little boy. We are beyond grateful for how far he’s come and for every doctor, nurse, and person who helped care for him during those critical days. March for Babies is personal for us. It represents everything our son overcame and every tiny miracle that helped him get here. We’re walking in honor of Zael and all the babies and families who have faced the NICU journey. We are also walking in support of maternal health and infant mortality. Please join our team, ZJ’s Circle of Love to walk with us, support families like ours, and honor everything our little fighter has overcome.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
