Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

About March for Babies
We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. Because together, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all. March for Babies. Every step counts!

Braeyln Sayre

Braelyn was born at 24 weeks and 5days weighing just 1lb 12 oz. She was born by emergency c-section due to mom having a silent bacterial infection. Braelyn had a very complicated 110 day hospital stay, at just 5 days old and had to have emergency surgery to repair a bowl perforation. Braelyn had many surgeries and fought off just as many infections. One of those infections, being very severe in her arm and elbow which required therapy for her to gain full use of her arm . Braelyn also had many blood transfusions, as well as went on and off the ventilator throughout her NICU stay. She had laser eye surgery to repair a torn retina and recovered from a broken leg that resulted from an x-ray. After 110 days, Braelyn was released from the NICU without being on any medicine or monitors. Today Braelyn is a honor roll student, competitive dancer, and an energetic 7 year old. She brings joy to everyone who meets her, and makes over coming the impossible look easy. With out the research of the March of Dimes, Braelyn wouldn't be with us today!!
