Important Update
Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

ABOUT MARCH FOR BABIES
We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. Join our event and walk with us to raise money for babies right here in our community!

2017 Ambassadors Kionne and Kennedi Knight
Kiri Thomson and Adronne Knight were looking forward to the birth of their twin daughters, who were due on Christmas of 2009. Instead, Kionne and Kennedi Knight were born in early November, almost 8 weeks premature. Kionne and Kennedi spent their first precious weeks of life struggling in the NICU learning to breathe and feed.
Both girls contracted RSV - due to their underdeveloped lungs- and had to fight for their lives during multiple hospital stays. It was a harrowing time for their parents. "We watched as they had to be resuscitated and placed on ventilators." said mom Kiri, "We thought both our girls would not survive."
Now, the girls are happy healthy 2nd graders in Hartford who love to paint, sing, and cheerlead for Youth Football. They love giving back to the community too, so get ready to join "Team Kionne & Kennedi" at the 2017 Hartford March for Babies!
