Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

About March for Babies
Join us for a fun, family-friendly stroll through downtown Bluffton as we celebrate strong moms and healthy babies, remember lives lost, and hope for all babies to be born healthy.

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. Because together, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all. March for Babies. Every step counts!

The Fisher Family

We welcomed our son to the world at just 30 weeks and 2 days of pregnancy. Owen Grant Fisher was born weighing 3 pounds 13 ounces. I was admitted to the hospital for severe placenta previa, where Owen’s placenta was covering my cervix. Medications were administered to slow down delivery but did not work. Owen was born on August 15, 2015. Two days later Justin and I went home without our baby, while Owen fought for his life in the NICU. We shed many tears seeing him hooked up to cords and monitors. 48 sleepless nights later we were able to bring Owen home. It was the best feeling ever! He is now a thriving two year old. Thank you for joining our family and countless others at March for Babies this year. Your support funds the research and programs that will help give all babies the best possible start.
