The Smith Family

First time parents, Erica and Romaine Smith, prayed intently for a son, and God answered their prayers. At 34 weeks Ryan Steven Smith was born weighing 4 pound 5 ounces. Ryan experienced jaundice and was treated with phototherapy. His feedings were increased every day to promote weight gain. Ryan’s 3 week stay in the NICU gave his parents the opportunity to get CPR certified and learn to care for him. Ryan is now an energetic 2 year old who loves giving hugs and participating in worship at church.
