Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. About March for Babies

Come join us for the 48th annual March of Dimes March for Babies! 2018 is a special year for the March of Dimes as we will celebrate our 80th anniversary. We plan to make March for Babies the best ever. March for Babies draws thousands of people across the islands who come together to support the March of Dimes goal which is, simply put: A fighting chance for every baby. Each year, 1 in 10 babies is born premature in Hawaii. Did you know that premature birth is the #1 killer of babies? That’s why, for 80 years, the March of Dimes has fought for little ones who can’t fight for themselves. With your support, we can find the causes of prematurity and birth defects together through research, education, treatments and more.

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. Because together, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all. March for Babies. Every step counts!

The Araki Regan Family

We unexpectedly welcomed our first and only child Riley Yoshio Regan to the world after only 30 weeks of pregnancy. He was born weighing 2 lbs., 14 ounces. The first month of his life was in Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children's Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) away from our Maui family and friends. When we first saw our newborn son, we were shocked to see the tubes and monitors connected to our tiny and fragile baby and how he fought to live from day one. Every day of Riley living in the NICU was emotional for us and we shed many tears. We are grateful to March of Dimes for all that they continue to do and for being there to support us during our most challenging times. Join us at the Maui March for Babies as we come together to celebrate March of Dimes 80th anniversary and March to fight for the health of all moms and babies. Mahalo! Lynn, Keith and Riley
