After an otherwise healthy pregnancy, at 37 weeks Nadera noticed their baby girl wasn’t kicking or moving so they went to get checked out. After an ultra sound, the doctor came in a said those dreaded words, “I’m sorry, we cannot find a heartbeat”. Mya would have been 9 this year, in the midst of their grief the family decided to be a part of the March for Babies walk in Sacramento. It was not just a way to honor their daughter but also a way to give back. This year marks the 8th walk that Mya’s family will participate to help further the mission and work of March of Dimes.
