Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. The Johnsons

First day at sail for our anniversary/babymoon on October 10,2022 my water broke and I did not know. I had no pain or indication that it happened. My husband and I were on the ship for an entire week and it was as if everything was normal. When we returned, I was scheduled for an anatomy scan for the baby on October 17th. At the end of the appointment, we were scheduled to see a Fetal Medicine Doctor 1 hour away due to not having any amniotic fluid. Then J’Nesha was diagnosed with Preterm Premature Rupture of Membrane (PPROM). Our baby, Jerry’s original due date was February 27,2023, but our 1lb 4oz and 12 inches of a miracle baby boy arrived on November 9,2023. He stayed in the NICU at McLeod Health in Florence, SC for a little over 3 months! The staff at McLeod felt like family more than anything! We live in Conway, and my husband and I would drive 1 hour to see our baby 4-5 days a week! We are beyond grateful for our miracle baby who is now a silly and strong-willed 1 year old!
