Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

We're getting ready to walk in March for Babies! It promises to be a fun day out with people who share our passion for improving the health of babies. There'll be family teams, company teams and people walking with friends - it's a great feeling knowing we're all helping real families. 2018 El Paso Ambassador Mya Soto

On November 14, 2016, there was no sign or warning to Mya’s parents, Monique and Jorge that their daughter was going to be born at 22 weeks and 6 days. Mya Marie Soto was born weighing l pound 2 ounces at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM and spent the next 165 days-almost 6 months in the NICU at El Paso Children’s Hospital fighting for her life. While Mya was growing and making gains in the NICU, her parents were also able to find strength and support from everyone who touched their lives during her stay. They experienced a roller coaster of emotions and didn’t know what to expect when Mya was born in such a delicate state. Today, they are thankful and grateful that Mya is a happy and healthy 1 year old who loves to play, sing and read books with her mom. Thank you for joining Mya, her family and countless others at March for Babies this year. Your support funds the research and programs that will help give all babies the best possible start.
