Important Update

Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

About March for Babies

Thank you for being a part of the 2026 March for Babies - Massachusetts!

As a March for Babies community, we’re better together. We’re stronger together. We’re louder together. United by our shared passion for helping families, we rally through the highs and lows of pregnancy and parenting at every point of the journey. The U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.

We walk to change this. March for Babies ignites conversations and supports issues that matter most to your employees, your customers and our community.

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. Because together, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all. March for Babies. Every step counts!

2026 Boston Ambassador Family

The Chambers and Maholic Family

When Jori Chambers and Sean Maholic welcomed their daughter Cameron into the world on June 3, 2022, it was nothing like they had imagined. At 30 weeks pregnant, Jori's routine checkup revealed that Cameron had developed supraventricular tachycardia, with her tiny heart racing uncontrollably. Within days, Cameron was showing signs of distress, and the family was rushed across Boston so she could be delivered by emergency C-section at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Cameron spent 53 days in the NICU, fighting through two blood transfusions, an intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular leukomalacia, and a transfer to the cardiac ICU at Boston Children's, all before she was even supposed to be born. Today, Cameron is a thriving 3-year-old whose resilience continues to inspire everyone around her. She lives with mild spastic diplegic cerebral palsy and some developmental delays, but thanks to early intervention and an extraordinary care team, she is making incredible strides. Jori and Sean are passionate about giving back to the March of Dimes because they know firsthand how isolating and frightening the NICU journey can be, and how life-changing it is when families receive the right support. They hope that by sharing Cameron's story, they can help other families feel less alone and advocate for the research and resources that make miracles like Cameron possible.
