March of Dimes leads the fight for the health of all moms and babies. We believe that every baby deserves the best possible start. Unfortunately, not all babies get one. We are changing that. Join more than 4,000 participants at our **NEW** festival location on May 12, 2018 for our Boston March for Babies event! Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the walk will start at 10:00 AM. With food, face paint, the Superhero Sprint, Ambassador Avenue and more, it is sure to be a fun day for all! The money you raise will be a lifeline for moms and babies near you and across the country, and supports moms at every stage from preconception to post-delivery, as well as research, advocacy and education. QUESTIONS ABOUT THE EVENT? Contact Danielle Fahey at 508-329-2807 or
We have a **NEW** location for 2018! The walk is at North Point Park on 6 Museum Way Cambridge, MA 02141. You can search the location using Google Maps or any other map apps for directions.

Our ambassador

Sarah Johnson

Sarah Johnson was born at 29 weeks and spent 114 days in the NICU. She was born with a Category 4 brain hemorrhage and required two brain procedures to address the excessive spinal fluid on her brain. Because of the intense pressure, Sarah's eyesight was severely effected until she received surgery on both eyes when she was just over a year old. Before having her eye surgery, Sarah used her hearing to overcompensate for her lack of sight. Today, Sarah is a first grader and has made leaps and bounds in her progress! Sarah is classified as low scale Cerebral Palsy, Developmentally Delayed, and has daily physical therapy in school. The good thing is that Sarah doesn't wear these titles. She lives life to the fullest. Sarah always has a smile and says "Hi, What's Your Name?" as a reminder that life is truly worth living. She is an inspiration and a reminder that we all have a mission in this life. We are grateful to have Sarah and her parents, Regina Johnson, and K.J. Carson of the new 97.7 Boston's #1 for R&B morning show, as our 2018 Boston March for Babies Ambassador Family.
