This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

The Magliones

In August 2017, I gave birth to my son, Jack, prematurely at 27 weeks gestation. He weighed 2 lbs 15 oz and was 15 inches long. Jack did amazingly well for a 27 weeker, but his lungs were still underdeveloped due to his early birth. Thankfully, Jack was able to receive lifesaving surfactant therapy at MUSC due to the research provided by March of Dimes. Jack spent 94 days in the NICU, and we are eternally grateful to all of the amazing nurses and doctors at MUSC. Thanks to March of Dimes for their continued research, we were able to bring Jack home and today he is a healthy 6 year old. However, not all babies are as lucky as Jack and continued research is still needed to increase healthy births across the nation. Join us for the March for Babies this year as we continue to spread awareness and support healthy moms and babies. ~Lindsay
