Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Fisher Puckett

Due to a preeclampsia diagnosis, Fisher was born at 26 weeks on August 2, 2016. Weighing just 1lbs 9oz, Fisher spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit fighting anemia, respiratory distress syndrome and Patent Ductus Arteriosus. The Puckett family attributes Fisher’s success to many of the discoveries of March of Dimes including surfactant therapy. Today, Fisher is a healthy 2 year old who loves visiting the aquarium and zoo, playing with his cousins and reading books. The 2019 Central Ohio March for Babies will be the Puckett family’s 3rd year supporting March of Dimes. By sharing Fisher’s story the Puckett family wishes to provide hope to those affected by premature birth.
