March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. Because together, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all. March for Babies. Every step counts!

Ambassador Family

The Phakousonh Family

Remy arrived on New Year’s Eve 2024 and was immediately taken to the NICU, where he was diagnosed with Pierre Robin Sequence—a rare condition that affects a baby’s airway, jaw, and ability to feed safely. From his very first moments, Remy had to fight simply to breathe. He spent the first three months of his life in the hospital, undergoing multiple surgeries and receiving intensive, lifesaving care before he ever experienced the comfort of home. Those early days were filled with fear and uncertainty, but also with countless sparks of hope. The NICU became our entire world, and the doctors, nurses, and specialists became our lifeline. Their compassion, skill, and unwavering dedication carried us through the hardest season of our lives. Now, as Remy approaches his first birthday, he is thriving. He is growing stronger, smiling more each day, and reaching milestones we once feared he might never achieve. His journey is still ongoing, and more surgeries lie ahead, but today he is healthy, resilient, and full of life. “When Remy was born, we never imagined his first months would be spent in the NICU fighting to survive. The fear was overwhelming, but so was the compassion and hope we received every single day. Because of the care Remy received—and the support made possible by organizations like March of Dimes—our son is here today, thriving. We know we are not alone, and that has made all the difference.” Remy’s story is a powerful reminder of why NICU care, research, and family support matter so deeply. Every baby deserves a fighting chance, and every family deserves hope.
