We march to honor our angel, Andrew Michael Ford, and what would be his 7th Birthday on March 30, 2025. Andrew was born 3 months early due to complications associated with "Early Onset Preeclampsia". He fought very hard, but, unfortunately, his lungs and heart weren't developed enough. In addition, his heart was not functioning properly due to placental issues in utero. He passed away on March 31, 2018. We miss Andrew every second of every day.

Preeclampsia occurs in about 5-8% of all pregnancies. Although the statistics make it seem fairly uncommon, however, experience doesn't seem to reflect that. It's likely that we all know someone affected by this disease. There has been so much research on preeclampsia; however, doctors still do not know a definitive cause. Let's change that!
