Eta Omicron Sigma Chapter (Waldorf, MD) of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated, is part of the Sigma Gamma Rho national team to support March for Babies with our national partner, the March of Dimes. We help babies by raising funds, which can be used to sponsor research, medical services and support to families with premature births. Through this partnership, the sorority focuses on our H3 -Healthy Generations iniaitive. March for Babies was started as a part of the sorority signature project, Project Reassurance. Sigma Gamma Rho and its affiliates across the country walk to raise awareness and much needed funds to ensure there are more healthy babies born each year to deserving families.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
