Holtz Children's Hospital is home to one of the nation's largest neonatal intensive care units (126-bed unit ), producing some of the best medical outcomes in the United States. The Project: New Born Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a designated Regional Perinatal Intensive Care Center by the state of Florida and boasts some of the best survival rates and successful outcomes in the country. The NICU is staffed 24 hours a day by an experienced medical team — including neonatologists, neonatal nurses, respiratory therapists and pharmacists — specially trained in caring for such small and sick children. This team works with physicians and pediatric surgeons in other specialty areas, as well as with parents and families, to ensure each child receives the best care possible.
With preterm birth rates continuing to rise, the U.S. remains among the most dangerous developed nations for childbirth, especially for women and babies of color.
At March for Babies™ you're lifting up communities, creating connections and taking action to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy.
Together, we’re marching to raise funds and awareness to transform the health of all families!
