Our team, Gabriella Ruth, is part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. Our team is named for our daughter, Gabriella Ruth Schubert, who died tragically on April 20, 2020 at 13 days old. I was diagnosed with sever preeclampsia at just 24 weeks gestation, and Gabriella was born at 29 weeks. She never had the opportunity to leave the NICU. Our lives were forever changed by her short time on earth, and we're participating in this march to honor her memory.
We know how hard it is to have a baby in the NICU, and how much harder it is to lose that child. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, we’re committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. And you can help us.
