There is a strong alignment between the goals of March for Babies and our mission at UPMC Health Plan to advance high-quality, equitable, and evidence-based care. March for Babies brings communities together to raise critical funds and awareness to improve maternal and infant health, address health equity gaps, and support families through research, education, and advocacy. This directly reflects the Professional Practice Council’s focus on professional standards, continuous improvement, and initiatives that positively impact the health outcomes of our members—particularly moms and babies who rely on coordinated, compassionate, and accessible care. By supporting March for Babies, we reinforce our commitment to prevention, health equity, and community partnership, translating our professional practice values into meaningful action that supports healthier starts for families we serve at UPMC Health Plan.
Consider donating or joining the walk on April 12th! We do have a few alternative walk locations planned.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
