Patrick John McGeady

As most of you know Mary and I lost our beloved Patrick John McGeady on February 8, 2006. He was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, which is a major congenital heart defect. The March of Dimes is an organization that supports all babies and won't rest until all babies are born healthy. We want the memory of our son to inspire others to create a world where all babies survive. Thanks to all of you that helped the Patrick John McGeady team raise over $23,000 last year. We were the top family teams in State of Ohio. With your help this year, I am confident we can raise over $30,000 and repeat as the top family team. The goal is higher this year for 2 reasons. The first is that our family has been selected as the Cincinnati March for Babies Ambassador Family. It is a great honor to be selected as the face of the largest fundraiser for the March of Dimes. The second reason is that it is the 75th anniversary of the March of Dimes. We are really trying to celebrate the successes of the March of Dimes this year and raise even more money to help babies. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies in our community and across the nation. The money we raise for March for Babies will support lifesaving research, services, education and advocacy that help babies get a healthy start.
