UC Health supports March for Babies

Join UC Health in the Fight for Moms and Babies

UC Health proudly supports March for Babies, a community walk dedicated to improving the health and well-being of moms and babies across the nation. Together, we can make a lasting impact in the fight against the urgent health crisis families face today.

Why We Walk

  • A Personal Mission: The March of Dimes holds a special place in our hearts—they have established a NICU Family Support Program Coordinator at UC Medical Center who connects our families to essential resources, guidance, and encouragement when they need it most. Families like the Cocco Family have experienced firsthand the impact of this support—hear their story: https://www.marchofdimes.org/find-support/community/stories/meet-cocco-family
  • Moms and Babies Need Us: Every year, 1 in 10 babies is born preterm, and more than 5.5 million women have limited or no access to maternity care services. These numbers represent real families in need of our support.
  • Health Equity for All: At UC Health, we believe every mom deserves access to quality care. Through March for Babies, we advocate for families, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.

How Your Support Helps

Your generous donations will:

  • Fund life-saving research and innovative programs to improve maternal and infant health.
  • Provide education and advocacy to ensure all moms and babies receive the care they deserve.
  • Support families through services that make a difference during and after pregnancy.

Every dollar you give ensures healthier pregnancies and stronger babies for families everywhere. Together, we can make a tangible difference inside and outside our hospital walls.

Walk With Us

Join UC Health and our community as we walk to raise awareness and funds for this critical cause. Together, we can create a future where every mom and baby thrive.

Team captains can enter as cash and mark "received" any money raised through promotions, such as bake sales and casual days and any sponsorship money paid to the March of Dimes, on their team's online form. When it comes to giving families the best possible start, we all have the power to help.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.

March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.

Thank you for your support!
