Right now, babies need all the help they can get. Premature birth affects about 380,000 babies here in the United States. The Portland Willamette Valley Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated will be walking in March for Babies to get the message out about this terrible problem and you can help.
Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated’s support of the March of Dimes is a significant and important part of our rich history, in fact, at our 1958 National Convention, Charles Bynum, who served as the Director of Interracial Activities for the National Foundation for Infantile Paralysis (now the March of Dimes) presented a plaque of appreciation to our fifth national president, Nellie Roulhac, for our generous financial support. Jack and Jill of America, Inc. gave more to the March of Dimes than any other organization of its kind!!
And almost 80 years later, we remain passionately committed to our partnership and our fight for healthy babies. We are honored to continue our support of the 2017 March for Babies campaign. Please make a secure donation to help reach our goal. Together we can help the March of Dimes fight prematurity so more babies can get the strongest start possible.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
