Our team is made up of people who have the priviledge of directly caring for or supporting the care of sick babies in the surrounding Seattle area. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is a scary place for families. The March of Dimes provides support and education to families who must walk this difficult path. We see the benefits of that support every day for our patients and their families. Please join us in helping the March of Dimes continue this very important work. Donate today!
In Washington State alone, over 87,500 babies are born every year and the work of March of Dimes impacts each family, whether their baby is born healthy, premature, or has other health complications.
Within these 87,500 babies…
The March of Dimes is working towards a future where all babies have the best possible start, and your support brings this vision one step closer.
Mary Campbell, a mother of a baby born at 31 weeks, who spent 5 weeks in antepartum, and 52 days in NICU, states:“We have been and will continue to be forever grateful to all of the nurses, volunteers and doctors who cared for both of us during that time. Without all of you, neither of us may have been here today… The (MOD) volunteers in Antepartum were tremendously helpful in keeping my spirits up during the process.”
It is for families like this, and thousands of others, that Swedish continues to partner with the March of Dimes, and I hope you will join me in supporting this cause. If you have any questions or need assistance please contact [email protected].
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
