Ruthie & Reid decided they'd each need some extra care leading up to, and following, their births last May. Their moms, Corrine and Laura, met at the antepartum unit at Swedish First Hill in Seattle and quickly bonded over hospital food, hallway walks, continuous monitoring, and dealing with complicated pregnancies.
During this challenging time, their families confronted the fear and uncertainty of high-risk pregnancies and extended NICU stays. They also witnessed the power of a strong support system, the dedication of skilled and empathetic medical teams, and the urgent need for more research into preterm birth.
Now, as Ruthie and Reid celebrate their first birthdays and the incredible progress they’ve made, they’re calling on YOU to join their March for Babies team and help make a real difference!
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
