Each year more than 20,000 families choose to bring their bundles of joy into the world at Texas Health hospitals, more than any other health system in North Texas. From high-risk pregnancy care and childbirth classes to family-focused births and advanced neonatal intensive care, Texas Health is committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to the growing families in the communities we are privileged to serve.
To give more babies a healthy start in life, Texas Health strongly supports the great work undertaken by the March of Dimes to implement outreach programs, provide community education and fund scientific research for the express purpose of reducing the incidence of premature birth. The March of Dimes has been very successful in achieving this mission-critical outcome, but almost 400,000 babies are still born prematurely each year in the US, so there is still a lot of hard work to do. That is why Texas Health as a whole will demonstrate the power of our Healing Hands and Caring Hearts to make the 2024 March for Babies a huge success, significantly growing the amount (more than $1 million) that Texas Health and its employees have contributed to the March of Dimes over the last 15+ years.
