The Zeta Omega Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. proudly supports the March of Dimes Walk in Baltimore County each year as part of our ongoing commitment to service, advocacy, and community impact. Our participation aligns with our sorority’s national partnership with March of Dimes, an organization dedicated to ensuring that all babies have a healthy start in life.
Premature birth, infant mortality, and maternal health disparities continue to affect families, particularly in underserved communities. As women dedicated to making a difference, we walk each year to raise awareness and funds for critical research, medical care, and community programs that support mothers and babies. The funds raised help provide lifesaving interventions, access to prenatal care, and education on healthy pregnancies, ultimately working to reduce preventable maternal and infant health issues.
By participating in the March of Dimes Walk, we honor our mission of Greater Service, Greater Progress and reaffirm our dedication to supporting families in need. We encourage our community to join us—whether by walking, donating, or spreading awareness. Together, we can take meaningful steps toward a future where every baby is born healthy and every mother receives the care she deserves.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
