Our story is one of miscarriage, infant loss and chromosomal abnormality. Realities many families face around the world. Realities that can be helped by the March of Dimes. Our infant loss led us to this worthy cause and the benefit of and need for it.
Every day sick babies are born. There is little we can do for those who have already left us...but this is something we CAN do. Morgan entered our lives March 26, 2010 at 9:59 a.m. His life was short, but he will remain in our hearts and the hearts of those who loved him forever. Morgan was born with pulmonary lymphangiectasia, a rare condition involving the lymphatic system, effecting the lives of 1 in 15,000 babies, usually of which die in utero. His condition, in addition to other complications, eventuality took control. After a short 18 hours, we were to realize that Morgan had no chance of survival. Morgan's fight and courage to stay alive will be a lesson of strength and heroism to us and others for the rest of our lives.
Your donations and sponsorship to the March for Babies can help. Through all of this, we have hope that Morgan's life, together with the March of Dimes, will help prevent fatal conditions such as these. Let's do what we can to break the cycle of broken hearts and give hope to what could be. Please consider donating to this cause either in memory of, or in honor of, a baby close to your heart. Sick or healthy, lets celebrate these lives. Thank you for your support to our lives, the March of Dimes, and most importantly, Morgan. All our love, Ashton, Leah, Arden and "Marching for Morgan"
