Kristin and Morgan Davis's story!
Morgan was born January 2, 2004, at 24 weeks 3 days gestation weighing just 1lb 6oz and measuring 13.5" long. My pregnancy was uncomplicated and seemingly "perfect" until the day she was born, and it was later determined that the cause of her preterm birth was a spontaneous placental abruption. Thankfully, the hospital I was taken to (Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, MD) was equipped with a Level III NICU, and Morgan would be delivered via emergency C-section and remain there receiving amazing care for the next 85 days. While Morgan experienced many bumpy days early on as any micro-preemie would be expected to, after receiving several blood transfusions due to being anemic, her stay there was miraculously uneventful. She was fortunate enough to not require any surgeries, have any infections, or suffer any major setbacks.
Today, Morgan is a happy, healthy Senior in college at West Chester University preparing for graduation, where she is majoring in Business Management with an HR concentration.
She is now a member of the GREYSTAR family as a Leasing Professional in the Philly region!!!
