Twenty-four years ago, our oldest son Ryley was one of the more-than-half-a-million babies born too soon each year in the United States. Born 3 1/2 months early, on the first day of my third trimester of pregnancy, he weighed in at an even 2 pounds. He suffered respiratory distress, was immediately intubated and transferred to a neonatal intensive care unit where he spent the first 93 days of his life. Modern medical technology is amazing, and today we are happy to say Ryley is a healthy, happy, thriving young adult. That is not the case for all babies born too soon, and exactly why we continue to work with the March of Dimes towards the day all babies are born full-term and healthy. Please join us in this mission by sponsoring, or joining our Family Team. We ask that you would also share this link with family and friends. Help us honor Ryley, and give to the research to keep this from happening to other families. Our sincere thanks, Michael & Donna
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
