Join the PwC Chicago team as we again unite to help support babies and mothers. One in 10 babies is born premature. Prematurity is the #1 cause of death in newborns. Many, including in PwC, have been impacted by prematurity and its impacts.
The March of Dimes has led the way to discovering genetic causes of birth defects, promoting newborn screening and to educate the medical professionals and public about best practices for healthy pregnancy.
This year, we're placing a spotlight on March of Dimes because they have stood by our people. Families in PwC have benefitted from the life-saving medical treatments that were crucial in saving the lives of their babies.
PwC has supported the March of Dimes for years, and has been a major team for many recent years. We have been leaders, including our Managing Partner Jim Kolar stepping up in recent years to be Chairman for Lakefront March for Babies. We want to continue to build on the commitment and service Jim and so many of you have invested in in past years. This year may be the year where we, the PwC team, surpass the $500,000 mark in March for Babies contributions since 2002!
