We walk to support the March of Dimes mission to fight for the health of moms and babies. Our journey to becoming a family was challenging. Evelyn Rose (Little Rockstar) was born six weeks early, and David James (The Champ) was born 4.5 weeks early. Both were born prematurely due to their mom's elevated blood pressure and worsening lab results. Both were born healthy. Evelyn only required a 1 week NICU stay. David was in the full term nursery and discharged home with mom. We also experienced two miscarriages between Evelyn and David. We walk to ensure all babies have the opportunity to become a Little Rockstar or a Champ!!!
