I'm Yashmee, team captain of Charismatic Crusaders, and this is my story. I was a premature baby myself, born at 27 weeks gestation with 23 weeks of growth, weighing in at 1 lb, 4 oz. When I was born, I had to stay in the NICU for close to 4 months just to grow and develop to where I needed to be. Thanks to the incredible care I got in the neonatal intensive care unit, today I am healthy and thriving with no further health concerns or implications.
Our team, Charismatic Crusaders is part of the movement to create positive changes for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, we’re committed to raising funds so that every family gets the greatest possible start. Here's where you come in!
