Did you know that premature birth is the #1 kill of babies in the United States . . . Our Chapter knows firsthand the challenges that newborns face if/when born too soon. We formed our March for Babies team to help support and to raise money so that other familes can be spared this frightening experience.
Why does premature birth happen? There are many reasons. The money that we help raise helps the March of Dimes to continue funding research that can help answer that question and to support programs that help more babies to be born healthy and on time. Overall, we have come a long way in the fight against premature birth, but there is much more to be done.
