After welcoming two remarkable 22-week’ers into the world, Luke and Logan, my wife and I understand firsthand the challenges NICU and micro-preemie families face. After enduring an emotional roller coaster of occasional highs and extreme lows, we would ultimately lose Luke at just 3 months old and Logan would spend just over 6 months in the NICU before we finally brought him home. Our experience has permanently changed our perspective on life and has inspired us to continue giving back in any way we can.
We walk in memory of our Luke, in support of the challenges Logan continues to overcome, and in honor of all the babies faced with difficult situations.
