Lucy and Chase Moore were filled with awe and anticipation when they learned they were expecting quadruplets. Their journey was one of hope, love, and unimaginable courage. In May 2025, their four sons—Jacob, Grant, Felix, and Lincoln—entered the world earlier than expected, born at just 25 weeks. From the very first moments, the NICU became both a place of heartbreak and hope.
Jacob, Grant, and Felix fought bravely, surrounded by love, but passed away. Jacob and Grant passed away 2 days after birth, and Felix passed away almost a month after his birth. Their lives, though brief, left an indelible mark on their family and everyone who cared for them. In the midst of profound loss, Lucy and Chase leaned on one another, their family and found strength in the compassion and dedication of the NICU staff, whose exceptional care, kindness, and support carried them through the darkest days.
Amid the heartbreak, hope endured. Lincoln continued to fight, growing stronger each day with the tireless support of his medical team and the unwavering love of his family. After months (126 days to be exact) in the NICU, Lincoln reached a milestone that once felt far away—he graduated from the NICU and was finally able to go home, a symbol of resilience, miracles, and hope. He had a loving family and a proud big sister, Lily, waiting—sometimes not so patiently—for him to come home.
The Moore family is forever grateful to the extraordinary NICU staff and to the March of Dimes, whose support, advocacy, and compassion made a meaningful difference during their journey. We walk in honor of the Moore quadruplets—Jacob, Grant, Felix, and Lincoln—remembering the three who live forever in our hearts and celebrating the one who carried hope all the way home.
