Our team, Team Audrey Scott, is part of the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk.
This team was formed in honor of Audrey Scott Ballew, who was born at 36 weeks with CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). Audrey fought for her life, spending 9 days on ECMO and having her life saving surgery on her diaphragm at just 3 days old, and spending 36 days in the NICU. The support March of Dimes gave to our family while we were in the NICU helped brighten some of our hardest days. The money we raise for March for Babies will help provide programs like NICU family support for families like ours with a baby in the NICU and funding research and innovation to address the most pressing maternal and infant health challenges.
