We are honored to serve as the Broward Family Ambassador for March of Dimes.
Two years ago, our twin girls, Azalea and Lily, arrived at just 29 weeks. What we imagined as a cozy homecoming turned into a long, emotional journey in the NICU.
For months, our twins fought bravely in the NICU—surrounded by monitors, tiny tubes, long days and even longer nights; That rollercoaster every NICU parents knows: the scary moments, the small-but-huge wins (like a little hand wrapping around your finger, gaining an ounce of weight) and the overwhelming love that kept us going.
Through it all, the care our babies received in HCA University Hospital’s NICU and life-saving treatments, our girls grew stronger every day and eventually came home thriving. Today, they’re busy, happy toddlers and living proof of what’s possible when great care, research, and support come together.
We learned firsthand how vital March of Dimes is. At just 2 weeks old, Lily faced a collapsed lung and received surfactant treatment, a breakthrough supported by March of Dimes research that has helped countless preemies breathe easier and survive.
That’s why we’re so excited to step up as ambassadors: sharing our story, walking in March for Babies, and helping raise funds for the research and programs that prevent preterm births and give every baby the healthiest possible start.
March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
Thank you for your support!
