Team Cobey

We've formed our March for Babies team in honor of our son, Thomas Charles Cobey III, who was born and died much too soon. We also walk to honor those who have survived prematurity, like our cousin, Amanda.  Our mission is to raise money to help all babies to be born full term and healthy. Please join us in this important endeavor. The money we raise helps fund research to find out why premature birth happens and what can be done to prevent it. Premature birth is the #1 cause of newborn death and the biggest threat to babies' health today. Please join us in our efforts by joining our team and walking with us this year. SWEET THOMAS

You are our special angel living in heaven day and night

We miss your sweet face, we could kiss and hug all night.

You are our little angel and part of our family

Heaven was not our choice, but it’s where God wanted you to be.

You are our little Thomas, our beautiful firstborn son

When you came into our lives, we had only just begun.

You are our perfect baby, ten tiny fingers, ten tiny toes,

Why you had to leave so soon, no one will ever know.

You are the second grandson, on Mommy and Daddy’s side,

And they speak your name so often, with so very much pride

You are the first nephew, so handsome and so loved,

We know you’re watching all of them from there way up above.

You came for just a moment, like a shining shooting star

And then you left for heaven, we know you’re not too far.

We see you in the rainbows and butterflies in the sky,

And know that you are with us even though we said goodbye.

We had to part so quickly here, but look forward to the day,

When we can kiss and hold you close and never go away.

But now we must go on and live and you must work above

Until we meet again sweet boy, we’re sending all our love!
