I joined the movement to create positive change for parents and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. What began as a standard pregnancy, quickly pivoted into several weeks of uncertainty, heartache, and grief. Our son Cameron was born prematurely at 33 weeks, with no known cause. He spent the first 22 days of his life in the NICU and taught us more about resilience than we could have ever imagined. Each day brought a new challenge, and we prayed for the day we could bring our baby home. We feel fortunate to have received immaculate care from the doctors, nurses, surgeons, specialists, therapists, counselors, and volunteers at Aurora Medical Center in Summit. Our hope is to help other families and babies receive the same level of care.
The March of Dimes organization funds NICU support programs, prenatal care for expecting moms, research and innovation to address the most pressing maternal and infant health challenges, education for healthcare professionals, and advocates for legislation that protects all moms, babies, and families.

March of Dimes is dedicated to bringing people together to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a series of walks, March for Babies is an annual tradition that supports moms and babies every day, every step of the way.
March for Babies connects friends, families, and coworkers to improve the health of families nationwide. Together with March of Dimes, each step forward brings us closer to a healthy future for all.
