Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

Aligo Family

Unexplained infertility is what our doctor called it. As proud parents of a 2-year-old daughter, we had to research what it meant as we had no problem getting pregnant the first time. After a year and a half of failed fertility treatments, including months of medications, a Hysterosalpingography (HSG), and five failed IUIs, we embarked upon our first round of IVF and found out we were pregnant in March 2016. We beat unexplained infertility and our prayers were answered! We welcomed our son, Vincent Phillip, at 33w, 4d, which resulted from a complete placenta previa rupture at 33w, 2d. We met incredible nurses, doctors, staff, and volunteers during our 17-day stay in the NICU. We are forever grateful for their loving care of our son and to the March of Dimes, who provided incredible family-centered care, education, support, and activities for our family. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Today, Vincent is a thriving 1-year-old and we participate in March for Babies to honor our son and his journey and give a fighting chance for every baby.
