Our March for Babies celebration is still on, but it looks a little different! We are rapidly preparing for a new, virtualized event that will be fun and engaging for everyone. This change in format aligns with the newly released CDC guidance for large events, to help ensure the safety and health of our participants. More details on our new format to come soon!

March for Babies is a campaign that connects millions of Americans united to improve the health of moms and babies in your community and across the country.

Together, we can give families the health information and resources they need throughout their pregnancies, and fund groundbreaking research to transform lives. We're also advocating for policies to keep moms and babies healthy and strong.

Because together with March of Dimes, each step forward leads to a healthy future for us all.

March for Babies brings people together through events across the country and online while raising critical funds to tackle America's maternal and infant health crisis—one person, one community, and one step at a time. More than a yearly walk, March for Babies is a community. Families, friends, and co-workers can connect while raising critical funds for research, education, advocacy, and programs and services so moms and babies get the best possible start. About the local event
We are excited to see you at the Triad March for Babies walk at Triad Park! Join us for a morning of family fun while raising awareness for March of Dimes. With activities for all ages, space to honor and unite with NICU graduates, and more, you won't want to miss out on this unforgettable day! For more information or questions, contact Caitlin McKelvey at [email protected] EVENT DAY INFORMATION: PARKING: Free parking is available at Shelters 6 and 7. The event will take place in the green space between the two shelters behind the Carolina Field of Honor. START TIME: Event opens at 9:00 AM Opening Ceremony & Walk at 10:00 AM (Walk is on paved path). WEATHER: March for Babies will take place rain or shine! We'll post notices should details change. BEFORE THE WALK: You'll have a chance to see the mission of March of Dimes in action and connect with other individuals who are committed to improving the lives of moms and babies everywhere. There will be snacks, face painting, a NICU Reunion area, and so much more! Our walk is dog friendly. REMINDER: The walk is free to attend for all! Sign up on marchforbabies.org to start your fundraiser.

The Hull Family

Rosie Mae was born at 26 weeks, weighing 2lbs and just 12.75 inches long. She faced breathing troubles, had a minor brain hemorrhage, hole in her heart, and battled a severe infection near her airway even before we got to meet her. By the grace of God and the wonderful people that are using their God given gifts to help babies like Rosie, we have a precious miracle girl! She spent 104 days in the hospital at Brenner Children’s NICU and came home on oxygen with pulse ox and apnea monitors. Since then, we have been released from care for neurology, pulmonology and cardiology. She completed her three years of follow up with Amos Cottage where doctors stated that she caught up to her actual age rather than her corrected age by age 15 months for developmental skills, of course we had a ways to go on the physical growth part to catch up! We are out to one year checkups for ophthalmology and otolaryngology. We are so grateful for the wonderful team of doctors that provided Rosie with the best care! The love those sweet nurses and doctors showed her means so much to us! Rosie was born September 3, 2020, came into foster care while hospitalized on October 12, 2020, we were able to meet her for the first time on November 16, 2020 and she came home December 15, 2020. Rosie’s adoption was finalized July 15, 2022. We are so very thankful for the NICU staff that loved our daughter before we even knew she was born!
