Please click on http://www.marchforbabies.org/COOPE05809 and select "Donate Now" Additionally we are holding our fifth annual "Ice Skate for Babies" a family night of skating and raffles. Please join us (along with any of your friends) on Saturday February 20, 2016 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. Connecticut College's Dayton Arena 270 Mohegan Ave, New London CT $10 per adult/$5 per child Rental skates available $5 If you are a Pfizer colleague the company will match your contribution if it is $25 or more. Please email me and I can provide matching gift form. As you may or may not know, on June 2, 2008 our daughter Molly was born at 29 weeks. Her weight bottomed out at 2 lbs 4 ounces and after just over 2 months in Yale's Newborn Intensive Care Unit she was able to come home. Molly survived being on a ventilator, brain bleed, septal defect, jaundice, etc. (all "Normal" preemie diagnosis). We consider ourselves "lucky" as Molly avoided surgeries and blood transfusions, which several of our friends babies from the NICU had to endure. Today Molly is a normal thriving 7 ½ year old. Amy and I are truly grateful to all of the doctors and nurses and the research that has occurred in the past. Our involvement with the March for Babies is a way to show our appreciation and pay it forward. If Molly was born even a decade ago the outcome may have been very different. Unfortunately, not all of the babies survive (as several of our friends from the NICU lost their kids while we were there). Thanks in advance for your consideration, Amy, Molly, Josh and Evan Cooper

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
