Why I walk

On June 27, 2009 our triplets Charlie, Annaleigh and Lily arrived suddenly 15 weeks early. Weighing 1 lb 13 oz, 1 lb 9 oz and 1 lb 8 oz they immediately began their long and grueling struggle to survive in the NICU. Sadly, our beautiful Annaleigh passed away after just 8 weeks of life due to an infection called NEC, which preemies are vulnerable to. Charlie and Lily spent 95 and 99 days in the hospital before coming home. Today they are happy, healthy and growing strong thanks to the wonderful care they received after birth. Every day, thousands of babies are born too soon, too small and often very sick. Our team is walking in March for Babies because we want to do something about this. I know you care, too. That's why I'm asking you to join us. It's easy: just click the join this team button. If you can't walk with us, please help by donating to our team. You can do so right on this page. Thank you for helping us give all babies a healthy start!

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.
