Why I walk

I never fully understood the impact of what it is like to have children born premature until very recently. My twin boys were born on Christmas morning 2009 at 35 weeks and after spending the first 24 hours holding my breath they pulled through the worst of it. They still spent the the next 7 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit under constant supervison with IV's and wires hooked up to them, including the worst when they had to put an IV in both of there heads. If possible no parent or child should ever have to go through that. Please help me in supporting this great cause and hopefully no baby or parent will have to go through that again. It cannot be stressed enough how much of an impact each donation makes to help prevent pre-mature births. Every dollar donated is a personal pledge that you will stand and walk to support March of Dimes. Myself and my family have been directly impacted in a positive manner by this organization cannot thank you enough that through your efforts and others like you that we have gotten to celebrate our childerns first birthday, first steps, and even their first words. Thank you so much for your support of this very important cause. Mike Kennedy

Your gift matters

Funds raised in March for Babies support research and programs that help moms have full-term pregnancies and babies begin healthy lives. And they will be used to bring comfort and information to families with a baby in newborn intensive care.

Thank you for walking!
